The Harvey Martin Dreams Foundation, Inc. will enhance the scholastic performance of academically marginal minority students. The primary focus of the Foundation will be to coordinate various innovative and integrated programs, resources and initiatives that will instill knowledge, improve skills and develop the student’s intellectual and moral qualities. In fulfillment of our purpose, the Foundation will strategically seek, recognize and reward the efforts of students who demonstrate a personal desire and work ethic to achieve progressive academic improvement. These students must also demonstrate a desire to progress to a higher level of instruction.

Purpose

The Harvey Martin Dreams Foundation is created to enhance the scholastic performance of academically marginal minority students. Application and Phase Components

Phase I: Pre- Screening

  • Submission of Pre-Screening
  • Notification of acceptance to move to Phase II

Phase II: Completion of Foundation Application Process

  • Letter of application addressed to the Scholarship Committee. The letter should contain a brief explanation of educational goals and personal background information.
  • Submission of three (3) letters of recommendations from any of the following: teachers, administrators, counselors, employers, or individuals with significant knowledge of applicant
  • Personal Essay: Being Committed Changed My Life

Phase III: Interviews

  • Personal Interview with Foundation Members
  • Notification of acceptance to Harvey Martin Foundation’s Cohort I
